Decision in September for Proximus

The future location of Proximus will represent one of the deals of the year. It will be recalled that the telecommunications company has decided to reorganise its real estate holdings and to put its two towers located on the Boulevard Albert II in Brussels up for sale. The company is going to reduce the space it occupies from 105,000 sqm to 50,000 sqm. Ten or so companies proposed a project at the beginning of May (renovation of one of the towers or a new building). Three of these will be designated at the beginning of June, from which a final winner will be announced in September. The City of Brussels and the Bouwmeester are joining Proximus in making this decision. BNP Paribas Real Estate is mandated with finalising the transaction.
